XIII.        Next Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees:  Meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 P.M. at the District office unless otherwise specified.  Any member of the public may place relevant items on the Board’s agenda; however, written notice describing the agenda item must be given to the General Manager/Secretary one week before the Board meeting.  The next Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees is scheduled for February 19, 2008 at 5:30 P.M.

 

XIV.        Closed Session:  The Board will hold a closed session to discuss the following items:

 

A.    CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION

[Subdivision (a) of Section 54956.9 of the Government Code]

1.      Name of Case: Adjudicatory proceedings pending before the State Water Resources Control Board regarding Permits 11308 and 11310 issued on Applications 11331 and 11332 to the United States Bureau of Reclamation and complaints filed by the California Sport fishing Protection Alliance regarding the operating of the Cachuma Project and State Board Orders WR73-37, 89-18 and 94-5; and proposed changes to the place of use of waters obtained through aforementioned permits for the Cachuma Project

 

B.      CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION

[Subdivision (c) of Section 54956.9 of the Government Code – two cases]

 

C.     CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL -  PENDING LITIGATION
